Spring at Target 2020 Home Decor Favorites

Spring is coming! Are you ready? I am. I have been wandering the aisles of several stores falling in love with all the new items for Spring 2020. Of course, Target is one of my favorite one-stop shops for all the things, so I wanted to share my favorite spring finds. Let’s go shopping together!

hearth and hand wood tray

This round wood tray is my favorite find of the entire spring line. It is a fantastic tray for year-round decor, and it’s food safe. How tasty would your charcuterie board look displayed in this oversized tray?

If you love this design but need something smaller, they have designed something for you too. The square wood tray is smaller and almost half the price. It’s still food safe and the same beautiful wood design.

Just gazing at these gorgeous pictures makes me giddy for spring. The peonies were the first thing we saw when we entered this section of our store. They even caught my little girl’s attention with their vibrancy. Put some of the gorgeous stems in the bamboo hanging basket or the watering can basket, and you’re ready for spring.

Next is something that will definitely make your home feel sunny. The lemon tree looks so great in person. I am picky about greenery looking too “fake,” but this faux tree is beautiful. If you haven’t noticed, lemons have been popular in recent years, and I’ve seen them a lot for 2020.

Now let’s talk about the most Instagrammable plant I’ve ever seen. The fiddle leaf fig is in so many gorgeous home photos all over Pinterest and Instagram, but I’ve heard the real ones can be difficult to keep up. The faux ones can also be pricey. This small fiddle leaf fig will give you neither of those problems. It’s adorable, and I am already planning my return trip to purchase this cutie.

Sometimes I find the in-store art selection lacking. I had some luck this trip in-store, but the better variety is still offered online for my store. The floral framed wall canvas duo above are small in size and price, but they provide a great pop of color to update a space with some spring tones. I loved these canvases online, and they did not disappoint in person.

The Hearth and Hand signs for the bathroom are so cute and affordable. Their neutral color palette will offer lots of use through many seasons and decor changes. I thought the wood sign above would be great for a bathroom shelf.

These are my two favorite art pieces offered by Target right now. The landscape with houses is perfect. The coloring is not overwhelming. It subtly hints at a colorful season, which I think could take your seasonal decor through fall. Honestly, I would leave this gorgeous piece up year-round.

The floral framed canvas is a punch of color and points towards spring and summer with the beautifully painted peonies. This canvas allows you to bring spring flowers inside without having to care for real ones or arrange faux ones.

Bed and Bath

Throughout the bed, bath, and art selection, there is an overarching color that Target is calling “copper.” I love it, and I like that they’re making it easy to match things throughout their decor options.

The fruit and floral pillow has embroidery and embellishments making it a fun statement pillow with a hint of the copper color. The floral pouf on the bottom shelf also offers lots of texture and some of the copper.

The Heart and Hand shower curtains are gorgeous with their fringe bottom, and the price is affordable too. Most design options include the copper color with gray and/white.

The bloom pillow was another online favorite that I was happy to see in stores. I love the piping details with all the different colors, including copper, and tassels on the corners. I can’t think of a better spring pillow.

The copper quilt and copper pillows in the last photo tempt me to change the colors in my bedroom. Lots of accent colors would complement these pieces, including gold, a favorite of mine.

We are planning to redo my daughter’s room soon because it’s almost time for a big girl bed, and I love looking through the bedding to see what she might enjoy. The floral quilt is adorable. I didn’t see any of the other options online yet, but again you can see a similar color throughout the spring line, including this adorbs elephant throw pillow below.

Last stop. I have to take a peek at the kid’s clothes because I always check for clearance. This jumper is the cutest, and I hope they have it in bigger sizes next time I go. It’s adorable. The art class brand of clothing is one of my favorites for my little girl.

So, from this list, what would I purchase? Well, if I could only buy a few things, I would go with the round wood tray, the small fiddle leaf fig, and the landscape with houses art. All of these pieces could be reused for different seasons and in different areas in my home.

Want to save money at Target?

Before we say our goodbyes and end this virtual shopping trip, I want to share with you how I save money on every Target purchase online and in-store. I am a bargain hunter and clearance shopper, but I don’t mind paying full price for items I love, especially at Target. However, they offer an easy way to save money on every transaction through the RedCard

The RedCard doesn’t have to be a credit card. I didn’t get one for a long time because I thought it was a credit card. You can get a RedCard debit card that takes the expenses from your checking account like your bank debit card. You still get to save a percentage on each transaction, and you get the same benefits. My favorite part is adding the RedCard to your wallet in the Target app. I never have to take out my purse or card to pay.

Just a few other benefits I enjoy from the RedCard are frequent cardholder only coupons. RedCard anniversary coupon and a coupon for your birthday. Holders get early access to Black Friday deals online too. I purchased several Christmas gifts from Target at a lower price than Black Friday deals because of the RedCard benefits. I have been super happy with the RedCard, and the money it has helped me save. You can read more about the RedCard benefits here.

I have enjoyed our virtual shopping trip, and I hope you are getting excited about spring. I sure am. Let me know what goodies you’re finding at Target. Tag and follow me on social media @annakateturner on IG and @annakateturnerdiy everywhere else.

Happy shopping!
