You will find our heirloom wooden Advent wreath made in the USA from maple wood in your kit. The candles feature the colors for the weeks of Advent with a lacquer coating. The wreath and candles are finished with a matte lacquer. The finishes are safety tested for US requirements of toy safety.

Also included in your kit are Advent Cards. One card for each candle explaining that week’s Advent focus with scripture reading and a summary. The cards are professionally printed on thick gloss paper with rounded corners.

The Advent Kit is perfect for families with young children. The tools focus on play and creativity to learn about Christmas, Jesus’ birth, and why He came to earth. Your family will begin to look forward to Advent each year and hopefully continue passing down the wreath for years to come.

Using the wooden Advent wreath is simple. Bring out a new candle each week to add to the wreath. If your kids want to play with it more, you can always give them all the candles, but Advent focuses on the waiting and preparation for Jesus. So try to hold back the white center candle until Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. This day will be an exciting time to bring it out and celebrate the birth of Jesus. As it tries their patience, remind them how long the world waited for a Savior and how we continue to wait for His return.

You can also bring out your Advent cards weekly. Display them on a stand or hang them on the wall. They have beautiful colors and images, making a great banner if you pin them on a string.

Don’t forget about the digital Advent at Home Guide. It includes activity ideas and coloring pages for each week. My kids love to color, so we display their pictures each week. By the end of Advent, many pictures, scriptures, and crafts hang around our kitchen table. It’s a beautiful reminder of who we are celebrating.

I came up with this wood Advent wreath design in 2022 while up late with my youngest child. I couldn't find a product like this, so I created it myself. The demand was great, so I searched for someone to help me make the product even better quality.

At Turner Littles, we needed to find a production partner to manufacture our Advent wreaths with the best quality. Our wood toy manufacturer, based in Vermont, uses maple wood for our product, and their local team makes our wooden wreaths and candles with the utmost care. The wreath has also gone through toy safety testing.

Your wood items will arrive shrink-wrapped, and Advent cards are in a plastic sleeve. Please, remove all packaging and plastic before allowing children to have them.

We will happily include a gift message if you are sending the Advent Kit as a gift. Don’t disregard the postcards inside your package, either. These explain how to care for your kit and access your digital download.

The base of the advent wreath is a thick maple round six inches in diameter. The candles are three inches tall and half an inch thick, made from solid hardwood.

The kit includes some small parts. The product is for ages 3+ for small parts hazards.

If you need to clean your wooden items, please only wipe them clean and allow them to air dry. Do not soak in water. Do not place it in the microwave.

Hardwood is used to make the Advent wreath to add longevity and quality; however, wood can still be scratched or dinged. Some wear and tear from extra love is expected with use year after year.
